The Archbishop of the Anglican Church in North America was established by the Constitution and Canons of the Anglican Church in North America in 2009. The full title, as established by canon law is Archbishop and Primate of the Anglican Church in North America. The first holder of this office was Archbishop Robert Duncan. The current holder as of 2026 is Steve Wood.

The Archbishop serves a term of five years, and may be elected for a second term, but cannot be elected for a third term.
