Talk:Canon of the Mass (Anglican Missal)

Editorial note

Order pagination. The Order title leaf (scan PDF p. 499) carries only a foot mark "P" while the following leaves are printed C2–C56. "P" is treated as a printer's signature mark, not a competing series: signature marks P and Q appear only at gathering and title leaves, and every numbered leaf carries a C folio. The series letter is therefore given as C. One point remains unexplained: why the starred mark falls at C 5 (four pages after P) and at C 33 (eight pages after Q).
