The primary text of the 12 March 2019 agreement between the Church of Nigeria and the Anglican Church in North America has not yet been checked against this article and should be verified before the work-in-progress notice is removed.

The March 2009 declaration of communion is quoted from a contemporary excerpt of the Church of Nigeria Standing Committee resolution; the full text and the procedure behind it have not been verified.

No statement in the article is attributed to Martyn Minns, whose December 2007 statement survives only in blog reproductions; the original has not been located.

The Federation of Anglican Churches in the Americas' later history and present status are not documented in the sources consulted for this article, and no dissolution date is asserted. The text of the 2007 Common Cause federation articles, and any influence from federation documents on them, remain to be checked by documentary comparison.
