The Blessed Virgin Mary, also called Mary, St. Mary, the Mother of God, the God Bearer, the Theotokos, or more simply the Virgin Mary, was the mother of Jesus Christ, whom was conceived within her while she was a virgin by the power of the Holy Ghost.

She is celebrated on February 2, on the feast of the Purification of the Virgin Mary, and on March 25, on the feast of the Annunciation.
